ARTIST STATEMENT
The art of Angelisms has been a personal journey for me to find ways to reflect and express a sense of hopeful innocence. The same innocence, that one might experience as a child. The images that I create are to inspire, and to project a positive, and nurturing message.
On each canvas, I aim to mesh my love for a rich color palette and subtle texture together to make one whimsical creation. The creative process from beginning to end is always a form of art therapy to me; collaborating antique greeting cards and post cards, hand crafted papers, or foreign memorabilia from each of my travels and from the experiences that have so graciously shaped my life. Each piece is intended to reach out and awaken the harmony within us all.
